1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ToolPix at https://toolpix.app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ToolPix provides free online tools for image editing, PDF processing, and developer utilities. All file processing is performed locally in your web browser using client-side JavaScript. No files are uploaded to our servers.

Our tools include but are not limited to: image compression, resizing, format conversion, cropping, PDF merging, splitting, QR code generation, JSON formatting, and more.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Use the Service to process content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
  • Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service in a manner that degrades the experience for other users.
  • Use the Service to process illegal, harmful, or objectionable content.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by ToolPix and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission.

You retain full ownership of any files you process using the Service. We claim no rights over your content.

5. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Because all processing happens in your browser, your files are never uploaded to or stored on our servers.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components.
  • Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of results produced by the tools.

You acknowledge that processing results may vary depending on your browser, device, and the files you use. Always verify output quality before using processed files in production or critical workflows.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ToolPix and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of data, revenue, or profits.
  • Damages resulting from the use or inability to use the Service.
  • Damages resulting from any content processed through the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which is $0, as the Service is free).

8. Third-Party Content and Advertising

The Service may display advertisements provided by third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or opinions expressed in third-party advertisements. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.

9. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
